Whitmore and Associates LLP is seeking a Corporate Attorney with a strong transactional background to join our Business Law Group in Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will advise corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and corporate governance matters. This is a high-impact role within a respected boutique firm known for its sophisticated client base and collaborative culture.
You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of transactional documents including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, LOIs, NDAs, and commercial contracts. You will conduct due diligence reviews, coordinate with outside counsel and regulatory agencies as needed, and provide strategic legal counsel to clients across multiple industries.
Candidates must be admitted to the DC Bar (or eligible for admission on motion), with 4-7 years of corporate law experience at a law firm or in-house legal department. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously are essential.
