Luminary BioSciences is seeking a Research Scientist to join our immunology research team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will design and conduct experiments to investigate novel therapeutic targets for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. You will work in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and bioinformaticians.
Your responsibilities will include designing and executing in vitro and in vivo studies, analyzing complex datasets using statistical software, authoring internal research reports, contributing to publications and patent filings, and presenting findings at team and cross-functional meetings. You will also contribute to lab management activities including equipment maintenance and mentoring junior researchers.
Applicants must hold a PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field, with 2+ years of postdoctoral or industry research experience. A strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals is expected. Expertise in flow cytometry, ELISA, cell culture, and mouse models of inflammation is required.
