Pinnacle Engineering Group is looking for a licensed Civil Engineer with a focus on public infrastructure to join our growing team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will lead the design and engineering of transportation, stormwater, and utility projects for municipal and county clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. You will be involved in projects from feasibility through construction support.
Your responsibilities will include preparing engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates; conducting site surveys and geotechnical assessments; coordinating with public agencies, contractors, and utility companies; and ensuring all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations. You will also prepare and present technical documents to clients and stakeholders.
Candidates must hold a PE license in the state of Oregon or be eligible for reciprocity, along with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 5+ years of relevant infrastructure design experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and HEC-RAS is required. Experience with ODOT or local agency project delivery processes is highly valued.
