Meridian Health Systems is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at our flagship hospital in Chicago, Illinois. This is a full-time position requiring availability for 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays. You will provide direct patient care to critically ill adults, coordinating with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams.
As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs and hemodynamic parameters, and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition. You will also serve as a primary communicator between patients, families, and the broader care team.
Candidates must hold a current and unrestricted Illinois RN license, with a minimum of 2 years of acute care or ICU experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
