PrecisionWorks Manufacturing is seeking a motivated Production Line Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations on one of our high-volume assembly lines in Detroit. You will be responsible for leading a team of 15-25 production operators, ensuring daily production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
In this role, you will manage shift scheduling and attendance, conduct regular safety briefings, perform first-level troubleshooting of equipment issues, and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to minimize downtime. You will track and report key production KPIs and actively participate in process improvement projects on the plant floor.
Candidates should have 4+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role. Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and standard work principles is required. Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends are essential.
