Meridian Health Systems is seeking a certified Per Diem Phlebotomist to support our laboratory services team on an as-needed basis across multiple clinic locations in the greater Chicago area. This flexible role is ideal for professionals looking to supplement their income while maintaining a commitment to quality patient care.
In this role, you will collect blood and other specimen samples from patients of all ages, label and process specimens in accordance with laboratory protocols, and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. You will be expected to deliver a calm, professional experience for patients.
Applicants must hold a current phlebotomy certification (CPT) from a nationally recognized organization such as ASCP or NPA. A minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting is required. Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings and weekends is essential.
