GreenLeaf Financial Advisors is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead our assurance practice and oversee audit and review engagements for a portfolio of clients in real estate, nonprofits, and professional services. You will manage a team of 3-5 staff auditors, maintain client relationships, ensure compliance with GAAS and GAAP standards, and drive consistent quality across all audit deliverables.
In this role, you will plan and direct audit engagements from kickoff through issuance of the audit report, review and sign off on workpapers and financial statements, communicate findings and recommendations to client management and boards, and support business development through client referrals and proposal participation.
Candidates must be a licensed CPA with 6+ years of public accounting experience, including at least 2 years at the manager level. Strong knowledge of GAAS, GAAP, and audit methodology is required. Experience auditing nonprofit organizations is highly valued. Proficiency in CaseWare or equivalent audit software and strong project management skills are expected.
