PrecisionWorks Manufacturing is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our operations team at our production facility in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes across multiple production lines, ensuring all products meet internal specifications and customer requirements before shipment.
You will conduct root cause analyses on quality defects, lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) efforts, perform audits of supplier and internal processes, and maintain documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. You will also work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, along with 3+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is preferred. Experience with SPC, FMEA, PPAP, and APQP processes is highly desired.
