Pinnacle Engineering Group is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to support our engineering design team in Portland. You will prepare technical drawings, plans, and detailed design documents for civil infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. This is a critical support role that ensures our engineering deliverables are accurate, well-organized, and meet client and regulatory standards.
Your day-to-day work will include drafting plan and profile sheets, cross-sections, details, and utility layouts; updating drawings based on engineer redlines and field changes; maintaining drawing files and project archives; and coordinating with engineers to resolve drawing conflicts.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Drafting Technology or Engineering Technology, along with 2+ years of civil drafting experience. Expert proficiency in AutoCAD is required; Civil 3D experience is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects are essential.
