Launchpad Technologies is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to help scale and optimize our cloud infrastructure as we continue rapid growth. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments primarily on AWS, container orchestration systems using Kubernetes, and our observability stack. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and operations.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with backend and frontend engineering teams to improve deployment processes, automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible, implement robust monitoring and alerting with tools like Datadog and PagerDuty, and drive security and compliance practices within our cloud environment. You will also participate in an on-call rotation.
Candidates should have 4+ years of DevOps or site reliability engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Linux systems administration. Experience with Python or Go scripting, GitHub Actions or Jenkins, and familiarity with SOC 2 compliance requirements are highly desired.
